What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology can be understood as a wholistic natural approach to health care. The philosophy of kinesiology has traditionally been embedded in holism: the idea that the whole is more than the sum of its parts, and that health comprises of an interweaving of physical, emotional and spiritual wellness, not just the absence of disease.
Kinesiology uses muscle monitoring, and applies the principles of modern health sciences with traditional medicine to assess and treat the body as one unified system. Kinesiology uses a range of gentle yet powerful healing techniques that are non invasive to improve health, wellbeing and vitality.
How does Kinesiology Work?
A fundamental premise of Kinesiology is that the body has innate healing energy and is, at all times, doing its best to care for itself. Kinesiology works with the physical emotiional and spiritual aspects of self as one unified system.
Kinesiology also recognises that there are flows of energy within the body that relate not only to the muscles but to every tissue and organ that go to make the body a living, and thus feeling being. Each muscle is also linked to an acupuncture meridian and has physical, emotional, nutritional and energetic components.
It seeks to uncover and then balance the causes behind our problems and symptoms. It is done in a gentle and non-invasive way.
Using Muscle Monitoring
Kinesiology uses muscle monitoring to identify imbalances in the body's structural, chemical, emotional and energetic fields.
Muscle monitoring is a natural feedback system using an indicator muscle, which gives information from the brain and body via nerve pathways and the meridian system. Muscle monitoring bypasses conscious thinking processes and gives information from both the conscious mind and subconscious levels of mind.
The information is used to establish the body's priority healing needs and to restore health and balance.
Kinesiology and Energy Flow
Kinesiology recognises that there are flows of
energy within the body that relate not only to the muscles but to every tissue, organ and
cell that make the body a living, feeling being.
Energy flows can be evaluated by monitoring the function of the muscles, which in turn reflect the body's overall state of structural chemical, or emotional balance. Each muscle is also linked to an acupuncture meridian and has physical, emotional, nutritional and energetic components.
Kinesiology bypasses conscious thinking processes to isolate causal factors in the subconscious, body and etheric levels. Honouring this system enables the body to clear itself at its own enhanced rate and priority.
Developing treatments
Kinesiology can assist with structural learning, addiction, cellular, emotional, energy and spiritual issues. Precision muscle monitoring techniques are used to open up and connect the internal communication channells to identify and correct energy blockages within the body.
Kinesiology is uses precision muscle feedback and body awareness that can help you to reduce stress and pain, improve performance at school, work and home, in sports, in relationships, and promotes health and wellbeing. Kinesiology helps you access your body's inner knowing.
